WordPress 2.6 Key Features
Great news to hear the new version of WordPress is coming to be released in August 2008 with a lot of features added mainly for users.
Just to share with you 10 key new features disclosured in the WordPress blog about this version. The WordPress 2.6 will also include several features for developers as well.
I do hope that WordPress will add as many features as possible so users even those who has limited knowledge of blogging can easily to use it rather than other blogging platforms such as Blogger, TypePad…..
- Version/revision saves a copy of a post every time you edit it, allows you to view (not edit) each of those copies (revisions), Shows forward (in time) diffs between any two revisions.
- Add paging of Themes in Design panel
- Word Count displayed when writing and editing posts and pages
- Press This bookmarklet
- Add sorting to gallery
- Export/import post excerpts
- Theme Previewer
- Check (assigned) Ccategories at top Category box in Write/Manage Post
- Show when a term is both a tag and a category
- Wider Profile fields
Hope that no delay in the time line set for the next version of WordPress and I expect to have this release on August 7, 2008.

Automatic Scuttle Submitter is 100% automatic social bookmarking software designed to submit your domains to thousands of Scuttle sites. Not only Automatic Scuttle Submitter creates accounts and bookmarks sites automatically, but also parses meta tags for each URL and runs itself in background without any user interaction.
